I truly believe I have the best job in the world as a middle school English teacher, and it is my dream to help young people fall in love with words through the stories they already have inside them. Some of my most fond memories are watching kids go from disinterested readers and writers, to enthusiastic thinkers, scribes, and scholars.

When I’m not staying cozy inside during the harsh Midwestern winters, you can find me reading, writing, and dreaming. My own writing has appeared in the online publications The Budget-Minded Traveler, Minneapolis Running, and the National Association of Independent Schools. I’ve lived and taught English all over the world, but currently call Minneapolis, MN, my home.
